This notice explains how Metabolic Insight handles information when you choose to save an assessment report for consultation. Local privacy rights vary, and this notice provides a clear baseline for users internationally.
Who is responsible
The data controller for this assessment is the operator of Metabolic Insight. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to vernlai@gmail.com. You may also contact the coach who shared the assessment.
Before you save
You can complete the assessment and view the full result without creating an account or storing the report. The calculation occurs in your browser. Storage begins only after you confirm that you are at least 18, consent to storage, create a 4-digit PIN, and generate a consultation reference.
Information collected
A saved record contains your 20 questionnaire answers, functional score and domains, screening status, archetype, scoring version, consent version, creation time, retention date, random report reference, and a protected hash of the 4-digit PIN you create. The PIN itself is not stored or visible to the coach. The assessment does not request your name, email address, telephone number, precise location, exact date of birth, or government identifier. Hosting providers may process essential technical logs such as IP address, device, and request information for security and service operation.
Purpose and legal basis
The report is stored so you can reopen it using your reference and PIN, and so an authorized coach can retrieve it using the reference you provide and prepare for a wellness consultation. Information is also processed to protect the service from abuse and maintain system security. Storage of your questionnaire report is based on your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Automated assessment
Your answers are processed using fixed questionnaire rules to produce a functional friction score, screening status, priority domains, and closest archetype match. The assessment does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, and it is not a diagnosis or validated disease-risk probability.
Who receives information
The report is available to you when the correct reference and PIN are supplied, to the authorized coach account, and to service providers needed to host, secure, and maintain the application, including ChatGPT Sites and its underlying infrastructure providers. Metabolic Insight does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
International processing
Because this service is available internationally and uses global infrastructure providers, information may be processed in countries other than your own. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Service providers are expected to apply their contractual and technical safeguards to the processing they perform.
Retention and deletion
Reports are configured for retention for up to 12 months. Expired reports are removed during normal system activity, and the application includes a protected maintenance process for scheduled cleanup where the hosting platform supports it. You may request earlier deletion by providing your report reference to the privacy contact or coach.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or information about how your data is used. You may withdraw consent and will not receive discriminatory treatment for making a privacy request. A request may require reasonable verification to protect the report from unauthorized access. You may also complain to the privacy or data-protection authority where you live.
Security and children
Coach access is protected by sign-in and an account allowlist. User self-access requires both the random report reference and the 4-digit PIN, and repeated attempts are limited. Keep the PIN private and separate from the reference you share with your coach. No online service can promise absolute security. This assessment is intended only for adults aged 18 or older and should not be used to submit information about children.
Wellness, not medical care
The report is an educational wellness screening and is not a diagnosis, medical record, or validated disease-risk probability. Continue prescribed care and consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
